The platforms are not the issue . Human intent is and why they want to lure you off site . If you have established trust .. go for it

That's the fact ...very correct.

That's so true.cause reading all these comments about off site is a red flag.but maybe in ur country u stick to the site but most country use to what's app where people can communicate by voice call, voice notes video call etc.if u develope trust to chat off site go for it...if off site and the person shows a red flag just block the person.simple...

chatting here for days or even weeks and then discover that the person you chat with is a scammer is pointless... I go straight on WhatsApp, video call problem solved, if they avoid that then bye bye

I actually had a video chat with someone, they were a crypto currency scammer, I am not sure they are all scammers but I treat them as such. They are still on Mingle now posing as 2 people with different names. So even a video chat doesn't solve everything.

It's a red flag for me if someone wants to chat off site immediately after the first few replies. You need to build trust first. For me, it might take weeks, and sometimes I would be the one to offer to chat off site if there's compatibility between us.

good one

a scammer is a scammer no matter where you chat them on. a scammer can chat you for years...marry you and then divorce you so that they can share with you your properties. So its all about doing your best to check on someone

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Skype. I don't WhatsApp until I trust a person, because it means giving them my phone number. With Skype I only give them my Skype name, and I can delete them as a contact if nec. One woman went straight from hello on a site to video-chatting with me on Skype, and it was just to check that I looked like my photos. So for me it's site chat, then Skype and later WhatsApp.

That is a big red flag. If you are a real person and are already chatting in the messages then you can keep chatting. The scammers want to take you to a less secure site. Listen to your gut and you will see the scammers.

I dont think that that site is more secure then wattsapp
