What food do you prepare to celebrate the New Year with?

Saukraut, pork, hot dogs, and mashed taters is the traditional good luck food in my area. What is yours?

hmmmmm how about if you pick a food that you want to be good luck or something your hubby doesn't like that you love, and tell him but its tradition we have to eat this for good lucklaugh laugh laugh laugh

Back in the day, when we used to have family dinners on New years Day....and actually had the day off....we would have Ham, mashed potatoes, some sort of veggies, and my moms baking powder biscuits....:tongue: Dessert was usually some of the xmas baking we had left over.....by then we were so sick of all that stuff anywaysohwell
