The Flower Of Love

Why is the rose, the flower of love
The bearer of feelings sent from above?
It's color is that of a heart, so it's said
Showing true love shall never be dead.
The petals so delicate and soft as a love
Brought down from heaven, as words aren't enough
The shape of a heart, topped with a crown
Pouring it's life, from stem to the ground.
So delicate in nature as thorns it displays
Speaking to many, we all have our days
So there you have it, the God given rose
Given to us for heaven so knows
We carry the promise inside us always
The heart with a crown, all lovers display.
