Yawn every time they speak

Sigh as well... All the time

I am deliberately responding to Devo to see if it's an effective tactic for dating since my 'Hi Guy' hasn't said much since that initial "Hi" :expressionless:

Don't you give up on your hi guys. They found the key to your heart, we just need to lead them to this thread and then they'll walk through the door!!

If your date can't take the hint after yawning, sighing and all the eyerolling, simply just burst into tears

Crying always helps... Always!

Make it very clear after making reservations at an expensive restaurant that you are a modern man and expect the woman to pay for the entire meal...

And don't forget to burp and fart as loud as you can during the meal.

Women love a man that is modern and willing to be himself anywhere...

On a first date go in for a kiss immediately when you greet them, it will get rid of the sexual tension, when they...I mean if they push you away tell them you admire them for playing hard to get.

The lonely life i live these days seems not to be the best so i just want to find that right woman that will share my love and life with, i seek for a woman with a heart of Gold and not a perfect woman, i want a woman that i can share fears, cares, success, pains, happiness and joy with and i want a woman that will rock my world and i would do same for her, nothing would feel so good as coming home and spending quality time with the one you love, all cuddled up on bed, in the couch, front of the fire place of laying outside looking at the sky and go on vacation trips together, feel the love and union of a family, i believe there are always joy when true love prevails.

On a date don't forget to make passes at all the waitresses.... and both negative or positive responses will , indicate , how sociable you are .....

Never respond to any online conversation with more than 3 characters. If you keep your correspondence to a minimum, you will ensure the other person will have a lot to talk about without being bothered by whatever you might really be thinking.

Douglas, I agree!

I would add that this also works on a date. The less that is said allows for awkward silence. And it is the silence/ "I don't know what they're thinking" that makes people feel more connected.

Make sure you talk about all of your ex's and rank them from best to worst so your date knows where they stand...

Sorry, Merry, that was just my sense of humour, while illustrating the wonders of the 3-character rule. See: we already are having a conversation .. this really works! laugh

You know how awkward that moment of meeting for the first time can be? The way both of you might be tongue-tied, leading to difficult silences? Lessen the stress by ensuring that there are plenty of people around, and lots of ambient noise.

Meeting up at a busy crossroads is good; if there are road works at the time, very good! If you can manage to meet outdoors at a commercial airport, that would be good and even better if you can get right under the flight path. A dog compound is another great choice.

You get the idea: anywhere that will cover up those deafening silent times with, well, deafening noises!
