May I add an observation please?
Hasn't this happened since you first went to school? When a tiny child in the playground, the new friend, all wonderful and exciting, then boom! Suddenly you are dust, and they have a new best friend? It is not gender specific, nor dating specific, it is a facet of human nature. Use the same techniques, (hopefully healthy ones) you used as a kid... it's no different. All they did is showed you they were not who they said they were. |

its ok my lady.. happens to me too.. i dont get it any more than you do.. missed ya.. Izzie! Here, have some blue hearts! Like the ones in the Lucky Charms box! I never had the exact same problem LoM has. Mine works more like this: 1. Girl from other site contacts me. 2. She gets all interested and communicative. 3. When I finally meet her, she turns out to be one of the more dishonest extras from "Night of the Living Dead." I had this happen 3 times last year! Glad I don't have to mess with THAT anymore! |

Could be a lot of reasons...
Fear of rejection... Unintentional flirting... Just a friendly person who thinks its you that's doing too much... Lots of reasons. I think it happens to all of us. Don't get down about it. |
