I am Not sure that is absolutely true Larsi ... and perhaps a false sense of security . Con artists are generally good at reeling people in over time . Always check out who you are connecting with .. regardless of whether they are a regular forum user or not ..

@Harry ..waving regardless of what a profile claims or how it appears ., if there is someone you are interested in .. Seek proof , as you get to know each other ask lots of questions and meet before forming too much of an online attachment . No one connecting online should be offended ... it is commonsense . Best of luck waving

Okay, I got your point. Some scammers use time, to gain trust. Though the obvious ones are much more "blunt" (sorry about the wee pun), and ask straight away to go off site, and use Hangouts, Whatsapp, etc.
