So I went out to this massive gig last night. First time, I went out after my accident to a place, that wasn't a hospital
The main act, Midlake (from Texas) were just epic, support act was a ballad singer from the UK called Bess Atwell. She was brilliant, too. Does anyone know these guys? I had no idea about them, I just scored free tickets on the radio, but I must say, they were fab |

Midlake used to be the soundtrack to my life especially "Branches". I would always listen to that track on the train especially in the dead cold of the Cape Town winter. They were part of the Indie Rock / Alternative scene.
