I’m a bit jealous hehe but glad you’re getting lovely autumnal weather. Yes, it was good! Had the sliding door open for most of the day. But in spite of the temp it doesn't feel the same as a summer 22C. The air is different and more moist too. Nevertheless, it was good!

16C, had sun, now cloudy, strong wind and heavy storm gusts expected, also tonight. Last night I put 2 straps around the gates so I was prepared.

In the end it wasn't too bad, even though we got 9-10 Beaufort gusts! Must say the direction was favourable for me, S - SW. That always makes a helluva difference. N - W - NW is bad for me here. We had that for the last 1,5 - 2 days. In the end it wasn't too bad, even though we got 9-10 Beaufort gusts! Must say the direction was favourable for me, S - SW. That always makes a helluva difference. N - W - NW is bad for me here. Hope it's not going to be too bad for you there!! It’s not too bad just now in all honesty. Just incessant rain and it’s quite breezy. Wind direction is NW here and I’ll be happy if it stays like this but it’s to get slightly windier in the next few hours. I’m not concerned about my fence either….I’ve had windier days before.

I’m not concerned about my fence either….I’ve had windier days before. Glad to hear the wind isn't too bad. Rain sux, hihi. I'm painting outdoors (coffee break now) and standing out of the sun in the wind. There's always a draft in between my house and the garage. I should wear a woolly hat, it's very unpleasant. But humidity is only 70% -ideal for painting- and I want the damned garage in English red stain before winter. I'm thinking of having the handyman put in an extra pole for the large gate so it is much sturdier during storms. I got the pole holders, the type you bang into the ground. But first I want him to finish the backside of the garage.

15C Some sun, lots of clouds though, and still strong wind around 6 Beaufort. Had to go out last night in the dark at 23.30 to put a strap around the gates as the gusts were strong.
