if you send someone a message
and the person you sent it to has not read it yet, and you go into your sent message screen click on that message and delete it does it just delete it from your list of sent messages ??? or does it delete the message from the inbox of the person you sent it to, as well? Anyone know for sure ??? Feedback please Moderators ????? |

no i dont believe, that would not make sence. deleting the message is like deleting it from the "History" which lets you know that you sent a message. I leave all my messages just so JSH can moan about me taking up thier space on thier servers

I THINK that when you delete it from your sent list, it just deletes that line from your list. I THINK that once the message is in their inbox, it's there and you can't retrodelete something in someone else's inbox. But that's just a guess, based on the way I THINK the system works. Maybe someone who knows more about this stuff will tell us! |

Once a message is sent - it can not be "taken back" -- by deleting it from your sent file you are only erasing YOUR record of the message.

Oh, and don't sweat the "DUH"... It was aimed at everyone myself included because I was asking this same question of some other folks just a few days ago. Sorry for making it appear a pointed insult. Sorry, you've never talked with me. 95% of what I say is joking and the other 5% is suspect.
