The book was intended as a light hearted look at understanding male/female differences and perspectives . Does a woman really need a penis to understand the make experience ?? . Although men clearly identify with their genitals .... I think they redistributed the wrong brain

Interesting discussion on "gender" anotomy distribution. To augment a previous response, it would simply require a manipulating of hormones to achieve the desired perception negating the need for redistribution of genitalia. or the exile of the male species to a different planet. Penis envy as a theory is really out dated and much of what Sigmund Freud wrote has little modern scientific basis to back it.. at least where women are concerned . Penis envy and competition between men is another matter lol

Totaly agree on the outdated science, the topic and discussion in general illicited my response. Isuue with the human condition spanning back to early Homonid cognition of gender assignment and differences as Homo Sapia evolved the perception of difference grew greater and greater. I have never read the book Cleve but I certainly know of it . I think now it is more politically correct to perceive people as individuals rather than to generalise Gender may influence behaviour , attitudes and perception but It is only one stimulus that shapes who we are and how we experience life . Though men may share gender based commonalities... each man is unique . The same for females . Probably why I never found the motivation to read the book lol
