Buttons, I know! But if I put them all on there it would've been too long. I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees it. I've noticed a pattern of, "oh my god I'm so hot" posts bursting into threads randomly and I just had to look.

So it was pretty much a disaster all the way around, and that put the final nail in the coffin of LDRs for me. But at least she wasn't the arsonist! Lex,
LDR's are really no different than the person down the street. How many bad dates do you need to go on to have a good one? I've learned that it's about a 1:10 ratio. Don't give up... stay glass half full, regardless of where they live. You're letting the few ruin it for the many, which doesn't seem like a decision you'd make, based on your other posts. You come across as a funny, smart and confident person. Nothing ventured, nothing lost. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!!

Oh yes, a few months back met a guy on another date site. We talked online the first week then phone calls came and text msging. Then we started writing each other through the mail. He went so far as to send me a cd with love songs of how he felt about me. He called and told me he was coming to see me told me the flight and everything. Well, 3 days pasted no phone calls no text msgs nothing. He wouldn't return my calls or texts. Saw him online one night IM him, he just turned and went off line. I have learned a lot from this hopefully I have become wiser. I feel for anyone who has ever been in this sort of situation.
My heart goes out to you all, for I know how you feel.

Well, like someone mentioned earlier in this post, nothing ventured nothing gained...Guess you have to weed out the "bad" before you find the "good"... That was pretty lame of her friend to do that however..not to mention the girl you met...one good came out of it..At least you won't have to worry about your house burning down.
