i need to have my deck checked out.it's old and doesn't seem to be very stable anymore

There are a lot of different treatments for that nowdays JT. Just make sure to have it checked out by a professional - and get several opinions on it.

i need to have my deck checked out.it's old and doesn't seem to be very stable anymore Try Home Depot think they have a book on decks and what happens to them when they get old and start to lean to one side you might have to saw part of it off and replace it with new wood.

Hey now Txs! No need to get carried away and make rash decisions about your deck in the heat of the moment. A guy gets very attached to his deck ya know??
Don't let it bother you JT. There are a LOT of guys in the same place you are. The stigma of having a faulty deck is pretty much gone nowdays. I used to be embarrassed about having such a tiny deck until I did some research online. It turns out that when it's in use I have a really great size deck. |

i know,i guess i'll call a specialist to come over and look at my deck sometime.i have to wait til the neighbors are gone though cause i don't want them to see i'm having problems with my deck.if they seen that and told people,i wouldn't be able to get people to come and sit on my deck.
i don't know what i would do if that happened |

Hummmm well I see as usual the guys are left playing with there decks again trying to figure out how to get them level and standing straight again so they can invite others to come site on them that is if the deck don't fall down due to bad wood.
