i REALLY do wish to list my profession, since I would like to meet with other women in my profesion, but your system won't allow me to save!

You COULD use the main body of your profile to state your preferences and your profession specifics if they are that important to you.

You can also add interests which closely match your profession if they exist.
Interests are clickable links.
When you click one of those thinks on a profile it shows all the results of your gender preferences who also listed that interest.
(Recently, interest links are no longer customizable. You now must choose from the selections available. Pick the ones closest to your profession and use the body write up to specify the details)
