When Mingle was just a website
I came here quite a bit
To create and spoil New Topics
With words that rhymed or didn’t

Most poems exposed my thirst
And welcomed the water bearers
Who came dripping
Into my inbox
Side rooms at parties
Under piles of coats
Messaging each other
To the desired effect

Friendships, activity partners
Intimate encounters
During the UK Olympics
And slightly beyond

Anyway, I’m back
Many years later
And all my old poems are lost
They were so good
I never kept copies
In case they were found
By my real life

Creative cost
Forgotten gains
The words are lost
The thirst remains

Actually they are not lost just way back in the archives..

I have actually gone back and pulled mine up and made copies..

Go to the Poems Forum then scroll all the way down mine shows 1034 pages click on the last page you can go to.. then click on page 1010 where they start..... Then just keep going backwards on the pages.
