well, i'm not here to date!
i hardly ever even IM!
i will say something about pics and profile text. i don't give a ratasz about either of them. i like to interact with people on the forum threads and discussions primarily. it's fun. sometimes i will even have an email correspondence with someone who is interesting, enjoyable and lively. although i mostly keep IM off, i have been known to chat a little once in a while. one of the best profiles i ever read was a one liner. pics do intrigue me sometimes it is the person and sometimes it is the art. but i understand when someone does not want to write a lengthy profile - and if they invite me to just ask...well sometimes i do...or i just lurk waiting for some interesting personality to make an appearance. but this is a good dating site. it provides a way to have a large coffeehouse/party atmosphere with conversation of all sorts and a diverse set of partiers who don't think the same... "i like that"
