2021 starts, where 2020 ended. Another great musician passing away. Alexi Laiho / Children of Bodom

I actually seen him live of stage

Sorry Lars, never heard of him or his band but I don't listen to death metal or whatever that is. I did watch a couple of their videos and have to say I just don't get it. Reciting your lyrics while trying to sound demonic and shredding through a couple of pentatonic scales does not get it for me. For me music has to be melodic and well, musical. I'm a so-so guitar player and have known and do know some of the great guitarists (read my profile) and if you're a fairly good player (better than me) and willing to tear your throat up this stuff is not hard. Nor does it take a great deal of talent.
But if this is your thing I'm sorry for your loss.

Aye, 30 years in the business is some achievement, I am sure you met a few famous musicians glasses

But tastes are different for sure. I seen these guys on stage, and I must say, they are up there in my Top 10 of live acts.
