Don't even look back !!! Those coffin nails were taking years off your life. Worship your body like a temple and it will hold your head for many years to come!!!

I quit in Feb of this year. The hardest habit to break is the hand to mouth habit. Keep your hands busy, always have a pen to "twirl" or something. Good luck, I found staying out of the bar for the first 3 months after made this time easier and it stuck. Other times I was still hanging at the bar and when I would drink I would smoke. Just keep reminding yourself why you quit and that it was the best thing for you! Happy Holidays and may you have an awesome and healthy New Year!

Unless you want to gain weight find something to do with your hands and mouth that do not involve food. Holding a twig/straw like you would a smoke and chewing on it helps. You will have this habit no matter if you use something like the patch/gum. There is more to the smoking habit than nicotine and something in your mouth as well, Friendship. You are used to going to break with the guys at work and all ya light up. Well you need to go to the non smoking break area at first. You will be to tempted to ask for a smoke in the smokers area.
