Have you ever felt a pain so intense,
It pulls at your heart strings,
Each breath you take,
You feel a series of stings,

The sharpness now becomes a dull ache,
But even if the pain is easy to take,
Your mind is still thinking,
Of all the betrayals and lies,
Of people who are users and so fake,

You want to appear calm,
But the words you say,
Show the depth of your pain,
The pain is here to stay,

You atleast know with some dignity,
No one will ever see your tears,
As you cry silently,
Trying to overcome your fears,

You lie back on your bed,
Thinking you survived another day,
But with your broken heart,
What you really wish is,
This pain just goes away...
