This desire didn’t happen in a day,
We know each other,
On and off for three years,
And with your sweet talk,
And charming ways,
Each time you lead me astray,

I fell for you this mid-year,
And how I tried to run away,
Yet it’s so difficult to leave,
Coz my heart wants me to stay,

Are my feelings a game or a toy,
Just for you to play,
Can I trust you now,
Or again will you betray,

I haven’t fully healed,
From the wounds you gave me,
I want to move on,
And find who is best for me,

Yet each time I try to move on,
Fate intervenes and brings us back together,
I am so tired of fighting my destiny,
But I don’t want to give in either,

I don’t think we belong together,
I try not to listen,
Yet fate keeps telling me,
Its no use denying,
There is no better place for me,
My place is in your life,
Maybe it is your life,
Where I need to be..
