Early this morning State Department officials confirmed that a major terrorist plot was uncovered. A source close to the investigation said, "This is probably the most significant and diabolical plan yet uncovered". According to officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity, high tech ease-dropping equipment detected communications coming from a hide out, deep in the mountains. Special Forces were called in and the suspect was taken into custody and transferred to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Under intense interrogation it was learned that Abdul Ali el Grinch also known as "The Grinch" was plotting to steal Christmas. The State Department spokesman said "Thanks to the dedication of our intelligence agencies and our special forces we have made certain our children will have a Merry Christmas". Asked how long "The Grinch" would be held, the spokesman said "No comment".

Well I guess someone complained about topic....so now its been moved...Kinda takes away from the "surprise" factor when reading....Thanks Mike and Van for ruining a perfectly harmless thread that people could enjoy and get a laugh from instead of all the bickering in "Current News and Events" .
