When we lost sight of the true meaning of the word. I do believe that when you use the word it should be real, not just a word

I thought I loved my partner until my daughter was born. Then I realised that I just cared for him. I don't know. I genuinely thought I loved him so maybe that's why it's thrown around.

Love is one of the most powerful tools there is in life. Its not something you can touch. But you can take it away or give it to whom you chose at any given moment.

We learn this as we grow up watching others as they use it like a carrot on a string in front of a rabbit. By dangling it in ones face as you watch them become memorized by the ideal of getting the prize so to speak. Then at any given moment it can be jerked away to bring one down to pleading for it.

For some the word is just a word and they will use it to gain what ever it is they seek why cause they can. Some think that if that is all it takes is say I love you to get what they want they will do it. From teenagers and up wanting sex they figure hey if I tell them that they will sleep with me. As far as when and were it started who knows.

My opinion one should never say I love you when in a relationship unless they really mean those words. I Love You are the most three powerful words there are in this world. People should handle those words with care. Instead of throwing them around as if they have no meaning.

One thing for sure I may tell a friend I love ya but I still only say that to a select few friends. But......... if those words every come out of my mouth to a man that I'm in a relantionspip with they can damn well bet they are from the heart and not just because he wants to hear them nor just to get what I want.

Because the bible tells me soooooooooo.
