Solitude
My solitude is my enigma I love it so much I want to share it Alone on this beach in the darkest of night The magical moon casting its light Shimmering on the ocean beyond the breakers Welcome to my world, any takers? The sound the surf with its pounding roar Salt spray in your face, could you ask for more? Then what about a sky of midnight blue And the longing in my heart to share this with you Stars appointed in heaven like crystal tears That calls me to love and dissolve all my fears This moment is timeless and I have all I need If you are the taker, then follow my lead I’ll show you what’s needed to live in my dreams And when you discover life is not what it seems Come true as you are and walk by my side The sand that we tread on the ebb of the tide Will take us for one last mystical ride |
