I've seen this happen a couple of times. A guy sends me a message and I read it. I look at their profile, and send a message back, but it pops up that they are in private mode and the message can't be sent. What does that mean? Has anyone seen that?

I have got it a few times it said that account is closed.

I guess they closed the account at the same time I message.

Private mode is just another terminology for deactivated.

but also here when u deactivate u can reactivate easily with all the history intact. some people deactivate regularly when they find someone cool to flirt with and send naughty pics via hangout or other site. just sharing what someone told me ;
