Don't know much about 'Hum Drum'. Now if you're talking about kettle drums. Then I'm your man.

I get it alot sometimes, many times I sit and read the posts, some are so sad that I don't know how to respond to them, others I don't know well enough or other times I feel like you said "hum drum, blah, lazy or self consumed,"...I love seeing all the friendship bloom on here, but trying to jump in to some of the threads, is a little rough for me. Then sometimes I feel like I don't fit in... |

Honestly, there are days when it's almost impossible to find something worth responding to. Once you wade through all the "Would You Paint The Garage Door Of The Person Above You?" and "Please Rate My Bathrobe" posts, you have to deal with the "I'm Bored" (so, get up off your dead ass and do something! It's not OUR fault!) and "Why Doesn't Anybody Like Me?" drivel. And then it's "Why Do All Men _____________?" and "Why Are All Women ______________?" We might as well have an Overgeneralization Forum. Sometimes I try to start a thread, but that rarely works either. I did one yesterday, asking a question about why people always say they wouldn't go out with someone as young as their kids, or as old as their parents, especially when some of these same people say "age is just a number" -- and only a few even responded to that part. Mostly, it turned into "Let's bash everyone of a different generation," which was NOT what I was hoping for. At least, I can always get a kick out of the Mutual Match profiles. "I'm a fun person who loves to have fun." Yeah, that's the ticket....

Most definately. I also know I really don't fit in with most of the people on here that post in the forums. I don't care though. If I have something to say, I plan on saying it.

Me too!! With the fact my daughter got a concussion this week and I'm trying to enroll in college, I'm just beyond thoughts.

Yeah. When I have to pay bills, I come here and post like crazy so I can forget about the bills. When I do pay my bills, JSH suffers. Freaking bills!
