How did you come to believe in God?

I was visited by God when I was four years of age and very messed up by the world my parents gave me. Their marriage was over before I was born.
Even the doctor told my mother to abort me.
So in abusive foster care, when my sanity was at stake, God came to me, to let me know it was going to be ok. He has me in His Right Hand and would never let me go.

Can you be real and have the courage to tell me your story?

Tragic. I guess no Christians can affirm their loyalty to God. Is it fear, or is it ego?
