Drinking a cup of coffee. Telling ZoeCat to hush and wondering where I was when a spider bit me.

Staying home, too many tourists here now with Pentecost holiday. Done a bit of shopping, now browsing the net. And occasionally writing a bit.
Lazy Saturday afternoon, haha.

Was watching all the bees coming and going from my roof. Seems they have made their home under a roof tile.

Are you sure it's bees and not Wasps? We've had to get Rentokil, out a few times to sort out Wasp nests under the tiles on roofs, quite a few times. The last one in Livingston, in March, added a full day onto the job. They usually get in at the side of a gable wall, where the dry verge is either damaged, or has failed completely!:sunglasses:

Yes, absolutely sure they’re bees. When I look out of the window I see about 30-40 of them flying about.

Hmmm... you may want to get that checked out and sorted. Once the queen decides to live there you can have a big problem.
I had somethng like that a few years back with a bumble bee. All the time I had one indoors while everything was closed. I kept putting it outside, only to have it back inside within 5 minutes. So I checked it out. It was flying near a wall, then I noticed there was a piece of cement missing in between 2 bricks. And it went in there. To end up in my living room again, so clearly there is some opening under the window sill indoors somewhere.
In any case, I phoned council and they sent someone who filled it in. Thank goodness in time, no queen in between the outer walls yet. The bumble bee flew around the wall for a few days, clearly confused he couldn't get in anymore, hihi.
But you wouldn't want a nest, even though bees and bumble bees are basically friendly.

I haven’t had any in the house.....yet! If they start coming in then I will get something done about them.

Many years ago (in a previous house) I had bees that made their nest in a hole in the ground right next to my gable window. One day I’d had enough and covered the hole with a paving slab. Boy were those bees angry!

For a second I thought I had the coronavirus but that is a respiratory problem. Stomach felt the worse it has ever felt. Pepto-Bismol cleared it right up. But you aren't far off on me eating my own cooking since that would have the same affect. laugh

OT: Drinking a 7up

Stay out of the kitchen indeed AND stop drinken 7-Up. Doesn't seem smart when you have an upset stomach, had to take medication for it, then go for that?

7up has always had a calming affect on my stomach. I rarely drink sodas but when I do it is always 7up or Ginger Ale.
