All terms from the novel 1984 by George Orwell
Do you see them often, in your life and around you? Do you believe we have freedom, or an Orwellian dystopia? 🧠::🧜♂️🦚⚡🕉 |

Freedom, in a society, is an illusion/delusion.
The only real freedom you have is in your mind and that must be kept secret from society. There is always a hierarchy in society. Always a ruling cast. Freedom equality can't exist in a society. For those who think they are free, stop paying taxes, stop working, stop following the 'rules'. Try building something on your so called "own" property without permit. Try teaching your children outside sanctioned education imperatives. Walk thru town with a gun. Sit on your porch naked on a hot day, in the city. Have sex where and when you want. Take someone's stuff that has more than they need. Drive an unregistered car on the public roads without a valid license. Drive a car without insurance. And the list goes on and on. Orwell did not invent civil dystopia, he merely pointed out what society is and will be. |

I think Orwell was encouraging us to think what we are thinking and to guard our language and what we are hearing.
Doublespeak? Politicians have used it always, nothing new there. |

What if you are unable to keep a secret in your mind?
Perhaps you can do this consciously But can you do it subconsciously and unconsciously? And how can you be sure you can do that? And if you cannot do that, or be sure that you can do that, then how can you keep a secret in your own mind Thought police |

A person who doesn't write and doesn't speak keeps the secret.
Communication is a choice. |

I would have been in the Ministry of Love a long time ago and tortured. I guess they can break your spirit, your mind and any freewill you may have....but is that living? I honestly would be a revolutionist, or dead. Such a cool topic R2D2.... |

How is subconscious or unconscious communication a choice?
A choice involves free will If your free will is subverted , thus rendering you to act against your will and conscious mind, then how do you keep the secret in your mind? If they could get the secret out of you when you were conscious, and you gave it willingly, then what need would they have to subvert the 2 |

Have you seen the film Slumdog millionaire Tom ( that's 1 example, I could cite others )
I mean you could interpret that film in a few different ways I suppose, but 1 interpretation that is frankly undeniable is this The whole way through the film, the police use various techniques and methods to get the chap to tell them how he knew the answers to the questions, as they assume he's cheated However at no point does he lie , or try to lie, abs he did not cheat So, he did not try to keep a secret But, could he have kept 1 if he wanted to ? |
