Hello, I am new here and wondering what way you use to make sure people you're talking to are legit. Do people usually take their conversations to whatsapp (or similar) quickly?
Thanks!

Welcome to Mingle...

Participate in the forums...and use the free search feature to identify potential matches for you...

Mingle is a free site for messaging, etc...no need to go elsewhere to exchange messages...the insistance to go elsewhere is a BIG flag that you have someone not legit...I strongly suggest you decline such invitations..

good luck

Hello beautiful

Maybe gave you good advice .. do not go off site until you have established trust and legitimacy . Be guarded about what personal information you give initially but bear in mind they may do the same too . Ask questions to establish they are in the country they claim to be in . You could ask them to send you an image holding up a local newspaper with the date on it lol . That would establish .. their photo is current .. And location .

It is up to you how trusting you wish to be .. my advice use common sense . .. Practise stranger danger waving

Hi BeautifulPuzzle

I agree with maybwecan. And if you go off site, Mingle2 cannot protect you. You'd be on your own and it's a jungle out there. Don't give out personal information.

Welcome to Mingle2 happy waving

Scammers will try to get you off the site quick. It's harder to track them and what not off site.
