Listening again With the heart to its music The winds of life Rushing over the chimes Of this loitering heart Like tubular tears chiming together A symphony of weeping Written in the key of separation Each note streaming down the face That wont face up Asleep in the dream of denial Until the heart is awakened by its own song A lullaby played backwards While cradling the child of grief
