This is my newest addiction. I have DVR every possible episode. I love this show, and I don't know why. Does anyone else love this show the way I do?

I've been addicted to it forever. The local PBS station is showing the Eccleston run for the second time, and he is amazing. And Rose Tyler -- wow, I wouldn't mind some TARDIS time with her....!

I just got one of the Troughton (2nd Doctor) episodes on DVD -- "The Mind Robber" -- holds up well for being 40 years old!

I love doctor who. I haven't seen a new episode in a very long tiam and I am sad about that. My favorite doctor is the newest one, because that is when I started watching. I love the show and it needs to be one in america more.

I loved Dr. Who when it was on. Hope it will come back to sci fi again someday.

I remember seeing the very first episode. (In black and white) With Patrick Troughton Also the first movie. 'Dr Who and the Daleks. With Peter Cushing.

Tom, Patrick Troughton was actually the 2nd Doctor. He started in 1966. William Hartnell was the first, in 1963.

And yes, I know way too much about this stuff....!

I remember the first series way back when. I enjoyed the show at the time too.

IMO, Tom Baker was the best doctor. That's when we first met K9 and we had the wonderful Romana and Leela. I am not ashamed to admit that I cried when Adric died.

I didnt like it at first, but it has grown on me. I watch it most of the time when it is on.

I love Doctor Who. The show, not the man. Not like that, anyway.

Has anyone else seen the Dr. Who episode, The Shakespear Code. This has to be one of my favorite episodes even if it is after Rose. Anyway I love the character of Shakespear in this episode, how he is such a genious that the psycic paper doesn't work on him and how he can figure out who the doctor is. I think that he should play a prominant role in the series, either as a friend or enemy to the Dr. They laid so much groundwork for him to be an amazing edition to the show I think that it is a shame that they haven't used him.
