have any of you ever thought about being a kidney donor
and if so would you be willing to donate to a complete stranger if they ask you out of the blue i have had problems with my kidneys for the past 24yrs but have been on dialysis for 2yrs now  ... anyone that is willing ot donate or live in the oregon area let me know and we can get it started... must not have any health issue to be compatible with donor

Yes......I have it on my licence that I am organ donor....I have made it very clear that when I die i want my organs donated to someone and not just to "science".
My ex husband needed a kidney and still does but due to his ethnicity he couldnt take mine. |

My best friends 11 year old son is on the transplant list for a kidney.
We are awaiting the results to see if I match. Poor lil man. |

I hope he gets it. It entails not much but about 13/15 criteria buttons.....
I got the info from the mail.....or you can get it from the hospitals..... or check out websites on it........ People who need kidneys are usually on dialysis for at least 4 hours 3 -4 days a week every week. Their diet is very strict and so is their liquid intake...... A live donor will maybe give that person 20 years.......a kidney from a cadaver will give them maybe 10 extra years.... |

your best bet is a family member and in the same "ethnicity" believe it or not, it does matter.....but some people.....strangers can be a match.

yes blonde, you must make it very clear that you want your organs for an actual person and not just for science if that is what you want.
