I know I have been told to go to the persons page and click report abuse, but that then shows up on theirs that I had to go to their site to report the stalking incident....

is there a better way rather than being accused "well you went to his site too" and also make them think ahhh she is checking me out too....maybe something added on the help section to report offenders?

That way anonymity and safety is a better concern for those being stalked who see this as a genuine legit issue?

Thanks

I am pretty sure you don't have to visit there page to report abuse. If they are sending you messages, then when you go to read that message there is a button that says "report abuse". you never have to actually go visit their site

How do you know if they are checking to see that your online? Is their some sort of notification that tells you they are checking on you, if so I have never seen it, maybe no one loves me. I guess what I am asking is, what are they doing that you know your being stalked, and how hard is it to ignore?

If I didn't know better.. I'd say yokoke has an imaginary stalker?

The phrase 'They really are out to get you' comes to mind...

So don't x them out and now you will have no idea how many times they have been there. I guess I don't consider it stalking if they find you interesting and happen to view your page on occasion. If it really does bother you then you might have to click on their page but something as harmless as looking I would probably just ignore

I'm confused. Yokoke, it may not be my business, and it may not relate to the issue at hand, but I'm curious if you consider someone repeatedly looking at your profile to be 'stalking behavior'.

Repeat views constitutes stalking????? Hey, I have been stalked then, yay!!!!! I don't know there is much you can do for a repeat viewer, is there? Repeated views is kinda something everyone has a right to do???? Maybe I am not understanding???

Dragoness,

I didn't mean to put words in Yokoke's mouth, I honestly don't understand all of what is being said in this thread, and only meant to give her a chance to clarify.

But I agree with you - I figure if I create a profile, I'm putting it out there for people to look at as much as they want.

Its like putting a personal ad in the paper, you can't help it if some random stranger cuts it out, puts in on their fridge, reads it 30 times a day while touching it lovingly and planning your marriage to them.
