Well I'm here to catch, again. So I need to address some posts I've missed.

First Creative:
For the 'all there is' doctrine, I would like to take an approach at defining this 'creative source', 'ultimate reality',
this 'constant', as it relates to the prior agreements made...

Perhaps this would be the first necessary adoption of agreement?

I think defining can be a task we need to review. But first let me correct a symantic issue. You wrote 'the all there is' doctrine, but actually it is 'the All that Is'. I just think it's important to make the distinction.

I feel restriction with your statment; the all there is. It seems to confine all there is in some segmented way, making the whole greater than the sum of its parts. That would make the parts a seperate value not equal to the sum.

In my mind, the idea of the "All that Is", simply is the sum of its parts. That would make the All everything, perceived or not, envisioned or not and even comprehended or not. The parts are segmented only by illusion. An illusion created for the purpose of growth and experience for the benefit of All. A hive mentality, with the illusion of individuality. The vastness of a mind that is not whole without the sum of its parts.

There is nothing to be god over, when the All, Is, whereas your statment leaves room for all there is to BE god. This, in my mind, is not a way in which the All would consider itself, for it is pure thought (pure energy) and the 'awareness' of self, in this form (human) is just an illusion for the knowledge to be gained.

Please consider this, and let me know if I've made it clear enough - and also if you think this might be an abstract enough view to allow others to accept it. Some may think this view too 'free', and may not be able to comprehend how ethics or values in this life can be formed from such thought. Though I, personally, think this view would substantiate very highly regarded eithicality.

I wonder, if during this busiest of times, we may well be in order for a momentary lapse of participation, as a result of more tangible concerns in each of our individual lives...

You are correct, I will be busy the next few days, but I will be back, whenever I have a few moments available.

Kat - If anyone ever speaks discent in this thread, it will be from outside the ranks. Every time I have come here, I'm so extremely pleased to hear how things have been going.

What a team - not even a tag necessary, it just is.

It would be wonderful if we find a way to fit many beliefs into this thread. For anyone who might want to consider this as a home base, there is always room for improvement.

So come on in, settle down and speak you peace. We're all figuring it out and the only thing that seems to keep us all coming back is each other and will to make it work.

Open door, come and go as you please, question what you will, suggest whatever. What good would it serve if we all, always walked the same path - we would know nothing more than anyone else, nothing ventured nothing gained.

Di:

It would bode us well, perhaps, should we all leave 'it' nameless...

I agree with your assessment... and my mistake was a minor oversight on my part, which held more serious implications...

Enjoy your holiday, my friend,

My 'it' is referring to what is commonly called God.

Yes, Creative. I believe you are right. Allowing the 'it' of the the All that IS, would indeed allow for individual interpretation. It, does not have to be the focus of our doctrine. Our doctine should be focused on ethics and no matter what one might conceive 'it' to be, if the ethics are sound, it should still connect.

Don't you think Kat?

IF ANY ONE VENTURES HERE THIS DAY 12/25/2007 - let it be in peace. The library is open here 24/7/365.

Yes oh lovely one. If I am to be able to come in and be a part of this place that can be so wonderful in nature; then I cannot in all good conscience leave out the One I believe to be the reason.

I will in all good faith TRY and be considerate of my words.

I am who I am. My belief says I cannot deny my maker. So please, allow me my way, and I will allow you yours. I have no annimosity to those that look elsewhere for their own comforts.

For me to join in, I will in some points have to bring in my belief in order to have a say. I WILL be generous and kind of yours.

I seek to show similarities and circumstance to our similar beliefs. We are as one. Different paths; leading to the same ends.

Oh....and if it will cause conflict or pain, or any other intrusion, I will of course leave and leave you at your peace.
