Nah, dreadlocks do nothing for me except giving me the urge to wash their hair. I watched a video of a guy getting someone to wash his long dreadlocks. I knew for a fact by the color of the water after wards, that had to smell bad. My English friend who had dual citizenship with NZ, she washed hers all the time. She also was a dread hairdresser who would incorporate beads, ribbons, coloured wool etc into your dreads. I guess it depends on the person. It is a shame Dreadaye can't tell us about his. Look good but just synthetic so not itchy ,I just wear it a party's etc Funny .

I like them in other people. And believe it or not you can wash you hair lol so it's not dirty. My mom use to do mine in braids ever summer. Took a long time but was cooler. And again washing lol it's not dirty.

Any extra hair would be welcome 
You could rock some hats with style, I am sure. Rock has no hair to spare.
