where going into a new decade ... time does fly by doesn't it ...

Does the decade end in 2019 or 2020?
Some argue this decade ends next week, on Dec. 31, 2019, and the start of a new decade begins on Jan. 1, 2020.


Others, however, say the new decade doesn't start until Jan. 1, 2021; the old one concluding on Dec. 31, 2020.



I am going for the first one ...

and the nxt will be 2030 ...


that makes more since to me ... but have been wrong before ...


so we will be at odds becouse some believe one way and other believe the other way ... thats

We started a new century at Jan 1st 2000, not Dec 31st 2000.
We become a teenager the day we turn 10, not after a year. We become twentiers when we turn 20, not the day before we turn 21.
We officially become adults the day we turn 18, not the day before we turn 19.
You're a millionaire when you get that last Euro on top of your E999.999 not when you reach 1.000.001.

So the new decade starts Jan 1st 2020. Even the name shifts away from ten/-teen to twenty.
That's how I see it.
