How I let you go, You were the shine, In my lifeless existing life, You were the rock, The solid support I felt, I needed to survive, Your beauty and rarity, So hard to find, In this world full of fakes, And lack-luster selfish minds, Were you for real, Or was I building dreams made of sand, In the end, all I can say, Whoever you are, You were a diamond, I once held in my hands.
