Do you know how to secure your WiFi? How can you tell they are hacking your WiFi? Is too much data being used or is he standing on your porch, surfing the net?

No. They passive aggressively tell me things in my yard indirectly. They hack me on this site somehow see who I am chatting with. Very eerie.

I'm no techie, but they might be doing the "middle man" thing, where their wifi or router signal receiver is stronger than yours, and captures your signals to their computer, then relays them back to your system, so they can see on their screen what you are watching. They can also do more than that.
Check that your system's 'remote assistance' or similar name option in the control panel folder, is turned OFF. If possible go for a wired connection, with no wifi or network modem or receiver / antenna, so there is no radio signal to intercept. |

It wouldn’t be hacking if they needed a password.

There are many ways to hack a WiFi network. In most cases just having an app like WiFiman will do the trick. You can see any device on the network as you. Assuming they aren’t in your accounts vs. being on your network. Gaining access to WiFi does not explain your problem. A keylogger would.

No offense, but until we chatted I was wondering if there was a bit of paranoia going on. I would bore my neighbours to death with what I surf. |

go into Network and sharing centre, and click on "Manage wireless networks".
Highlight your neighbour's network in the list, and click "move down", until its below your own network in the list. Or you can right click and delete it from the list. On startup the computer starts at the top of the list and connects to the first one in the list which is available . . . that stops that. While you are at it turn off network sharing. And change your router password (nearly everyone leaves it default) You will need to go online to the internet provider to do this. (google it) that should cover you from A. accidently logging on to thier wifi B. them logging on to yours. and C. them being able to see you computer if they still manage to hack your wifi. hope this helps |
