Every woman is different. I was told at 16 I would never have babies by my doctor. I made plans for a life of education, work and travel. Then at age 27 found myself pregnant. Three months after I had my first I was pregnant with my second son. Lol. Around here I was considered an older mom already. Most all my friends had kids in their late teens early twenties. I've lost three babies since then. I would have one now in a heartbeat if I knew I wouldn't lose it and I'm 38. I had a friend who had a baby at 39 with tons of complications both doing good after though. Then my cousin had a baby at 42 easy and no issues. I know the older you (both parents) are the more you run higher risk of problems like down syndrome and other medical issues. Me I'm at the age where I could go either way. If God blesses me I'm happy and if I don't have more I'm blessed with my two boys. I think age 41 is my cut off though.
