I got inspired to write this tonight, when I saw a commercial about the St Judes Childrens Hospital. To see those kids with their innocent eyes and to be struck with cancer and so helpless, the words just came to me.



Please Give

Do you see the want
In the eyes of a child,
They feel so hopeless
Where they stay awhile.
In that big hospital
Where they need a cure,
Those beautiful sad eyes
With hearts so pure.
From ages six months
To their late teens,
Waiting for a cure
Is a lonesome scene.
Cancer is not prejudice
It not cares who it takes,
Some survive this disease
Others, do not make...
It is so sad to see
But these kids stay strong,
Walking down the halls
Smiling all along.
They bear the pain everyday
With all the meds they endure,
Always with a hopeful smile
That one day there will be a cure.
To see the one less child
For God to take home,
To not see them in hospitals
In halls to roam.
Please give to St. Jude
Anything from a dime,
To see a childs smile
Would be worth the time.

You should send this to them it is very good and touching just like the commercials..love it..

Very good Robert the country station here has a big drive every year for St Judes and I have donated to them more than once. For it is the children we should be helping the most great write and yeah I'm with Dena should dontate the poem to St Judes
