Folks, the OP said beaches, not . . . Oh, forget it.

justme, the only ocean-side beach that I prefer is New Smyrna Beach in Florida.
However, I have not been there since the 1980s.

Ad Dahkla Lagoon. Sahara Occidental. It's home... I knew I came home.... The sand bars run for hundreds of feet... the water is clear emerald green.
behind you, are 6000 Km of sand... biggest beach in the world, and most un-inhabited

Sleeping Bear Natl. Lakeshore... Lake Michigan. It actually looks Caribbean... turquoise water, you can see 50-80 ft. down.

Negril Beach in Jamaica, Baby Beach in Aruba.. cove beaches...

There's a beach just before the Everglades, pristine and white, no name. let's keep it that way.

Julia Beach in Cali... a 30 ft. waterfall hits the beach at the water's edge.

If my bar ran hundreds of feet, then it wouldn't fit this website.

So, just why is the biggest beach in the world most un-inhabited?

It's the Sahara behind you. It's mostly inhabited, Sparsely in comparison. especially in that region.

Thing is, more people are finding out how beautiful it is. It might not stay that for long. go now if you want to see it.

Love the long bar Dave.... I would love an organic fruit smoothie please, drinker if ya got one.

I overlooked that you wrote "Sahara Occidental". That ruins what I was going to say.

I enjoyed Kuta beach, Bali.
And a beach in Zeeland, the province I now live in, at the time I was on holiday.
Both years ago, I have another Zeeland beach a stone-throw away from my home but I'm not a beach and salt-water person. I prefer fresh water and forest. In the 7 years I live here I've been to the beach to swim... 1x. tongue2

South Australia:

Maslins Beach, soft sand, gentle slope into water, cliffs at one end, and it's a nude beach. Yep. Glutes and mams and kittens and winkles everywhere on a warm day.

Cactus Beach, 3 excellent surf breaks, good fishing, and hundreds of miles from anywhere, so not too many A holes.

Port Gawler Beach, used to take car down for circle work on mud flats/beach, and dirt bike on many tracks. Mostly closed now.
