I haven't found that to be the case at all. Just the ones in Illinois, Indiana, the surrounding states....
The farther away they are from me, the less stuck-up they are! It's a simple mathematical formula.... |

Oh thats normal. Your best bet would be get into the forums and meet people that way. They will respond to your e-mails.

Hi.. I just read your profile and can tell you why I would not reply to you if you sent me an e-mail. If you're interested in my reasons, that is. I don't want to assume.

im not talking to anyone...no one replies to emails i send lol You're not alone there -- I used to try to send a little "Welcome" e-mail to new local people, telling them a little about the site and trying to initiate a dialogue based on their profiles. And nobody ever wrote back, so I just said screw it. I've been here long enough now, and have posted enough, that I get plenty of mail without ever having to write to anybody first. That eliminates the "rudeness factor" entirely; it's a lot less annoying this way.... Although the locals still won't talk to me....! |

Your profile talks negatively about prior relationships and says that you need someone to like you so that something in your life is "normal".
I will not respond to someone who talks about thier bad experiences in thier profile. That says, "hey, I'm still pissed off and a bad dating risk". The comment about needing someone sounds desperate. Talk about positive things, talk yourself up. Write a paragraph. Think of it as a social resume! |
