Is there anyone who knows someone who plays drums in the Lansing, MI area? I'm looking to start a band. I've played guitar since 1991, so I'm wanting someone talented. I like Metal, pretty much all of it... Black Sabbath to 80's hair metal, to Slayer/Anthrax/Megadeth/Testament style thrash, to Pantera, Fear Factory, Type O Negative, Machine Head, to all the European bands like At The Gates, Susperia, Dimmu Borgir, Samael, etc, to the newer bands like Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, and All That Remains. I like it all, and I like playing all styles. I think it's boring to stick with just one style and just be in one sub-genre.

Im from the Flint, MI area and my friend and I are looking for a lead guitarist right now. (Im on Bass he's on Drums). We've got equipment and ideas coming from all directions but we just need the other half of a band lol.

Flint isn't that far of a drive from here. I'd drive there. No, really. Haha. My friend who does my tattoos (for free) lives in Flint. He's a singer too... looking for a singer as well?

I play drums,,but I`m in ohio also...as for my case..to quote Neil Young: Rust Never Sleeps Good luck though..Some words of advice, look out for the egos to hit, just when you get it together enough to go out gigging. But if you get lucky enough to find the right people to jam with, go 4 it, and best of luck.
