sorry bout tht I am back now. The Greek cookies I was thinking about have that course greek butter, I can't recall the name right now. and Uzo. I think that is how it is spelled. Uzo, the anise like flavored liquer.

hello my dear Winnie ...
speaking of cookies ... my neighbor Sea just brought me a plate full of freshly baked organic persimmon cookies, made with raw honey , fresh butter, whole wheat pastry flour, raisins, walnuts and nutmeg cinnamon and cloves... plus an egg and baking soda and powder ... Sea said to tell you to use extra persimmon and cut back on the honey to cut back on the liquid .. any way..they are good ..go easy on the spices, too ... |
