I'm looking for anyone, male or female, that does the following hobbies.

- Metal detecting
- Coin Collecting

I have some other smaller hobbies, like collecting sports cards and stamps. But the two listed above are my big hobbies.

How do you monitized your collection?

What metal detector would you recommend? I have thousands of sports cards. A very nice collection of some very rare things.

I still like to collect coins. At work we have one of those CoinStar machines and I like to “raid” it if you will because every now and then I find foreign coins and it’s helped build up my collection over time.

I have friends that metal detect and they sometimes find some good things.

I dont know what area your in, but I have inherited my father's metal detector. I went one time with a group, but they were very experienced and didnt really teach us so well. So, went out in the field, found some golf balls and one penny. Would like to go more. I live in the South County area in Missouri. Let me know if anyone is interested. I think we would have to get permissions, unless anyone has acreage or knows someone who would allow us to go on their property. We could at least practice...lol My name is Darlene.

I forgot to mention I have ball cards. 1980, 1990, some pokemon, couple 1970, Nolan Ryan.

I have friends that metal detect in the ocean in the winter!
