I think I have a more interesting bet. I bet that when the end times comes and Christ ushers those to heaven....That all the one left behind will have mouths agape and just saying over and over, "Dang they were right"

Kalamazoo it sounds like your back pedaling before I thought you were saying that any real Christian wouldn't try to predict the future. Now you are saying something different. Man your beliefs change fast. No wonder there are so many denominations.

Nothing has changed in his beliefs. He's not denying that the end will come, he's stating that no Christian is going to go guessing when that might be. Let's assume that the end is in 40 years? You win your bet, but you were wrong. The end was on the way. And would you bet on if someone with cancer would die within the next week? Same thing with Christians, we take no joy in the thought of what will happen to those who haven't accepted Christ.

Oh and we are one more day closer to the end, whenever that may be.

If your worried that you might miss it by ten years I'd be willing to give plus or minus a 100years. Now that is a good cushion. Plus the money put in an interest bearing account will pay my decedents handsomely.

But rabbit, you fail to see the point. The problem I have is in the bet itself, not the number of years. I won't bet on someones death and I don't see why anyone would. I know for you, this is just a way to insult Christians, but no Christian in their right might is going to make a bet that you won't be in a position to pay and additionally, bet that you will die a terrible death. Who does that kind of thing? I will say quite clearly that we are seeing many prophecies fullfilled. I think we are probably 40-50 years away from the end of the world, but that's purely a guess. I don't know and if I did, I would be busy with other things to worry about a silly bet. You guys are so strange, you are so angry that Christians prostylize, but then you attack our beliefs. The unintended consequence is that you are making Christians more determined to get the message out. So for that boost in enthusiasm for spreading the Gospel, I thank you.

Just a note, minus 100 years? Incase the world ends in 1907?

It will happen and I hope in my lifetime....How awesome that would be. And rabbit you can of course believe there is never going to be an end. And for you there won't. cuz you will be left behind to live a hell on earth and I can rightly say I bet you $100.00 that you will live in hell on earth for 7 years.

yes I have no doubt that mother earth will end. but as Kevin Spacey said in K-PAX :The universe will expand, then it will collapse back on itself, then will expand again. It will repeat this process forever . What you don't you know is that when the universe expands again, everything will be as it is now. Whatever mistakes you make this time around, you will live through on your next pass. Every mistake you make, you will live through again, & again, forever. So my advice to you is to get it right this time around. Because this time is all you have. and I believe that so......................
