Having spent sometime on this site, I have started to wonder if their are any genuine profiles, except for those 22 to 28 year olds, looking for dating or long term relationships, then want you to go off site where they can send a link to another site?
There are so many makes you think Mingle2 is just away to get people onto the other sites to gain revenue.
Just a thought.

Hi jack welcome to the forums.
the sites they try to lure you away to are nothing to do with mingle. But I agree there does seem to be a lot of them. and as fast as they are kicked new ones appear.

if you set your mail filter to 50 miles or so and age to about 29 you don't get messages from them. Unless you live in London Scotland or some other geographical impossibility.

The forums is a good place to get seen, by real people.

But, the Forums are not the place to meet someone locally to date...which is what most of us joined this site for noway

That's why we use the "Search" parameters..to find someone in our age range and within a reasonable distance (for those of us who do not flay and aren't itnerested in driving 4 hours to meet up)..

Sure, the Forums are good for killing time, some idle chitchat.....but not for meeting a prospective partner...

The messages that want you to go to some other site are not a mingle thing. It is just using mingle as a free advertising for a separate site. It is common for just about any free dating site to have this problem.

Hi Jack
Isn't it nice of Mingle2 to have forums for all members to share their thoughts?

You've been here since 06/10/18 so I say you must be enjoying your stay... because if not why stay at all, right?

Welcome to the forums
