After reading in a WILD thread going on now..there seems to be a BIG issue about "prenups".

I am NOT stating this to point someone away from "hiding" thier assets and there is legitmate concern when it comes to "money issues" because of all the court junk that goes on these days.

I'm just saying this so for some, it takes any and all "money" issues out of play in a serious relationship and or marriage.

The simplest thing to do is NOT OWN ANYTHING yourself! Let your corporation OWN EVERYTHING! And any extras can be setup in a "blind trust", so when done right (its very simple to setup) then no one even knows you are getting money. Good way to keep any types after money, not just "relationship" types, away from your door.

It's kind of like your friend owns a beach house and they let you use it whenever you want. Same with the cars, the houses, etc.

So again, this is just a way of taking any "money issues" or "worries" out of play and one less thing to have to deal with or think about.

I hope everyone has the resources and has to use this advice! (meaning you have monies) bigsmile

Just a little advice here. Prenup agreements in the court of law are insubmissable if the woman was not in the right state of mind upon committing the act of adultry.. As quoted by a Georgia judge. Long story short I caught her in bed with another man, there was a prenup and she took me for more than half.

Perfect reason why you shouldn't have anything in YOUR NAME or YOU OWN!

If YOU do not OWN it, or have legal "interest" in it (thats a long definition) then the other party CAN'T TOUCH IT! Hence one less issue to be concerned on. bigsmile

I understand your pain. Been divorced myself. had to start over a couple of times in my life.

So I learned how not to have "issues" just like this. Basically I personally "own" my clothes and other small things, But any major items, from cars to houses, etc....I OWN NOTHING! But I sure have fun using my "friends" stuff!!! And that's there for the rest of my life! bigsmile laugh

So when it comes to the "money issues"..I have NO WORRIES! Life is a lot easier and enjoyable that way. bigsmile

if you own a business you technically have legal interest so i'm not seeing how this is beneficial either....

Thats the whole thing..the "corpration" is an entity within itself. A "corporation" does not really have an "owner". Its has a board, a President, VP ,etc. But none of them have to be you. happy

So again, its like your best friend has all this "stuff" that you can use. Just because you can use it, does not mean it's yours. this has already been well established in business law and the courts. bigsmile

Look into it well.

Much safer and iron clad....steeped in legal precedents going back almost 200 years.

Impregnable after fourth year anniversary.

Banks love to lend to LLPs.

They cannot be touched.

Only the declared dividend can be touched, and that can vary...heheheheheh

Plus, any award to a legal adversary pays the taxes on their award's proceeds without control of dividend disbursement.

They fume at that......look into it.

Umm dude, LLP & LLC's don't go back no 200 years!?? Even the S-Corp is only a few decades old! You might want to recheck that one. bigsmile

No!! See that's the whole point! You make it where you don;t have to WORRY about the money!

Money is then NEVER an issue! That's a great issue NOT to have on the "worry" list! bigsmile

Well for the time being I dont have any worries. My simple block is not to get married anytime soon. And to stop thee ever growing common law marriage dont live together for the X amout of time pending on state laws.
