Sorry I did not mean to offended you in anyway I just get a lot of crap when I ramble on on too much about things like this. but in that case I guess my argument is that the tree falling made noise whether anyone was around to hear it or not it's like saying if a lightning bolt comes down from the sky and no one is around to see it was it really there well of course it was but since no one saw it we all assume it wasn't.
I learned some interesting things in that class for example what if i told you that there is a very slim and I mean very chance that if you were to place your hand on a peace of glass your hand might move right through it. this is because of the space between
the partials that make up matter.
the truth is i love having discussions like this and I'm very glade your wiling to participate it's nice to meet some one open minded yet with their own opinions and thoughts.

Meh agreed. Well, if anyone doesn't like the conversation then they can let us know and I'd respectfull let it drop. Otherwise they can start their own convos or hop right in on this one idc:smile:

I've never heard the glass thing. But I can only quess your thinking quantum physics when you mention this. I don't know nearly enough to continue that talk with you. If you feel like going on with it you have my attention though:smile:

Of course this is a battle between logic and Philosophy. My side makes perfect sense, choosing that we ignore the laws of physics. Since Man has been the species that's laid down the rules of physics, and there is NO man present at said situation, then... theoretically... there was no noise. No one heard it.

"theoretically" so you admit that it is not a fact that there was sound, all I'm saying is that just because it wasn't heard doesn't mean it never existed. like A track tapes I've never seen one but i can't say they never existed because of that. of course once again I can not say you are wrong, it depends on how you look at it. on one side you have no proof of the sound so you have to say well then there was none but on the other hand we know from past happenings that a tree falling makes a sound. It's all in how you look at it.

Well how about a new topic (What came first the chicken or the egg ?)

Personally I don't think it matters if there was no rooster to fertilize the eggs.

any thoughts?
