Well how about a new topic (What came first the chicken or the egg ?)

Personally I don't think it matters if there was no rooster to fertilize the eggs.

any thoughts?

"theoretically" so you admit that it is not a fact that there was sound, all I'm saying is that just because it wasn't heard doesn't mean it never existed. like A track tapes I've never seen one but i can't say they never existed because of that. of course once again I can not say you are wrong, it depends on how you look at it. on one side you have no proof of the sound so you have to say well then there was none but on the other hand we know from past happenings that a tree falling makes a sound. It's all in how you look at it.

Sorry I did not mean to offended you in anyway I just get a lot of crap when I ramble on on too much about things like this. but in that case I guess my argument is that the tree falling made noise whether anyone was around to hear it or not it's like saying if a lightning bolt comes down from the sky and no one is around to see it was it really there well of course it was but since no one saw it we all assume it wasn't.
I learned some interesting things in that class for example what if i told you that there is a very slim and I mean very chance that if you were to place your hand on a peace of glass your hand might move right through it. this is because of the space between
the partials that make up matter.
the truth is i love having discussions like this and I'm very glade your wiling to participate it's nice to meet some one open minded yet with their own opinions and thoughts.

a more detailed version of what i had answered, funny thing was that was the best class I ever had and the coolest teacher it was all quantum physics so there was a lot of philosophical stuff like that basically the idea is since we don't know for sure something is there then it is not, I like to think about what "" isn't there
but please don't let me bore you I swear I can be a funny guy just don't get me started on E=MC square or my job you'll never want to
talk to me again LOL. so what are your thoughts on the tree LOL

In the past people believed the world was flat in their paradigm they were correct and so I guess you are as well, however if you look at it this way even prior to that paradigm being broken or disproved the world was still round not flat so I would say it depends on how you look at it.
for me I say unless the tree fell in a vacuum it made a sound.

And yet another resin to love Budweiser, first beer I ever had and
I grew up next to one of their main plants, also a big Jr. fan LOL

I was able to see the smoke from my High school parking lot after the planes hit and know a few people who lost loved ones that day in NY as well as DC so if it were me I don't know if I could have just walked out in the first place.

great story
