Topic: Pisces Coffee and Cupcake Shop - part 32 | |
---|---|
It ends after Labor Day, which is the first weekend of September. My flight back to New Hampshire is on September 7th.
I'm planning on going to the HEI resorts in Vermont for the fall season. The GM here spoke with me about staying on permanently and being part of the team that goes to Vermont every year for the fall season, two months. We would explore other departments to find the right fit for me and they would try to work out housing for me. Sounds great and I would have benefits, but I would prefer to do it the other way around, live in the North and come here for winter. Only problem is I keep getting the feeling I'm supposed to be doing something else, nothing to do with hospitality. |

Will you have a rest period before starting the new job or will you start right away? I'm thinking that if you had a break in between it would give you a bit of time to think things through as to which direction you want to be heading in job wise

If I stay seasonal then yes.
I'm considering looking into working with the organization that works through FEMA, helping diaster victims. Or going back to the YMCA as a volunteer for a couple months, the volunteers work in the library, gift shops, and museums. It would be a good way to get experience in those positions. Paid jobs require previous work experience. The volunteers only work 28 hours, get free room and board and have free access to the activities and amenities. It would keep me busy and give me plenty of time to do some soul searching as to what's next. |

I think you've a bit of soul searching to do. If it was me, I'd be doing what I think would make me feel better. Well being comes first. No point in busting a gut doing something that doesn't give you satisfaction.
I think you'd do good helping disaster victims. You have experienced that yourself so have a better understanding and you'd feel you've a purpose and get greater job satisfaction. Whatever you decide, I wish you success! |

Thanks, I feel you're right concerning helping disaster victims. I'm an Empath and an advocate by nature, a healer. It's in my heart and soul. That would be a good fit for me.
Closing the door to what no longer works is the challenge I'm facing. |

i am looking into virtual positions. guess i need to practice more typing and business communications. Business communications would be a start... then add to that ethics, personal communication, integrity, behavior management as far as interpersonal relations and appropriate conduct, and perhaps find a course entitled... "How to talk to women so they will listen". Have a good day and best of luck to you! |

Hi Sahin, how are you?
I'm fine. You?
I'm fine, I have today and tomorrow off from work.
I didn't understand exactly,
Permission or leave from work? |
I think it's what you call permission.
I work five days of the week and two days I don't work. |
Ok. I understood. Yes, we say permission that.
My permission days are Saturday and Sunday, too. Today I visited the livestock some more. And some i am tired. We're vaccinating cattle and sheep's eyes. "from eye" |

It's nice you take care of the animals
My permission days are Tuesday and Wednesday |
We're vaccinating cattle and sheep's eyes. "from eye" Thus, cattle and sheeps won't make miscarriage (abort) in time. |
I don't understand.
When cattle and sheep become pregnant later, this vaccine is given to prevent miscarriage.
